Tony McCormack

Tony worked with manufacturers, installers, trade associations such as Interpave and the former Interlay, professional and legal bodies such as DEFRA, the HSE and BSi. He helped guide and produce many codes of practice, specifications and other key documents over his many years in the industry. Tony was regarded as a key influencer to many whilst maintaining a fiercely independent position and had authored his own book on Driveways, Paths and Patios.

Tony was a likeable rogue with an infectious sense of fun that bordered on mischief. From times spent with colleagues jumping on and off San Francisco streetcars, to having the job title of ‘Supreme Being’ printed onto his business cards Tony will remain one of the few true characters of our industry. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
