Sustainable paving

The British Government has identified four priority areas for sustainable development:

 

• Sustainable Consumption and Production
• Climate Change and Energy
• Natural Resource Protection and Environmental Enhancement
• Sustainable Communities

 

Precast concrete paving products from Interpave manufacturers meet all these demands and other sustainability requirements.

 

For example, the BRE Green Guide to Specification provides independent endorsement of the low environmentalimpact of precast concrete paving, particularly in comparisonwith imported materials. All the block and flag paving for pedestrian and lightly trafficked areas gained the highest A+ or A ratings.
